Who we are

Bernard’s Back Porch Cafe is a cozy hometown spot nestled in the heart of Blanchard, Louisiana, serving up fresh coffee, handcrafted deli selections, and a whole lot of local love. Owned and operated by Lacey and Codi Bernard—proud Northwood High School Falcon alumni—this café is more than just a place to eat and drink. It’s a community gathering place built on shared roots and a passion for serving others.

Lacey brings her business expertise as a college graduate with a Bachelor's in Marketing and an MBA with a concentration in Data Analytics. Codi, an EMT and firefighter currently pursuing his paramedic certification, knows the value of dedication and service—both in the field and in the café. Together, they dreamed of creating something special to give back to the town that shaped them.

Bernard’s Back Porch Cafe is their way of bringing people together, one cup of coffee and one deli sandwich at a time. Whether you're stopping by for a morning brew or a hearty lunch, you'll feel like you're right at home on the back porch with friends.
